We are seeking a highly skilled Production Manager to join our team at Host Broadcast Services (HBS). The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing multiple deliverables during the preparation and operational phases of major sporting projects.
Main Responsibilities- Develop live and non-live production plans and workflows in close collaboration with the HBS editorial and technical teams.
- Forecast and manage production budgets, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of projects.
- Contract and manage sub-contractors, technical and staffing suppliers, ensuring compliance with HBS standards.
- Design and implement staff training programs, including documentation and evaluation.
- Optimize and improve existing scheduling processes, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Schedule production deliverables, both centralized and stadium-based, to meet project deadlines.
- Collaborate and communicate with all HBS departments, ensuring seamless project execution.
- Minimum 3 years of TV production management experience, with a strong technical and operational background.
- Experience in remote production or OB environments, with a focus on sports productions.
- Project management experience, with a proven track record of delivering budgets and managing teams.
- Fluent English language skills, with Spanish and French proficiency a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to travel, including long-term stays, and work in a growing, international team.
- Internal: All HBS departments.
- External: Client entities, sub-contractors, and direct hires.
