We are seeking a skilled software engineer to join our team at Nomadic Labs and contribute to the development of the Tezos blockchain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement new features and improvements for Tezos products.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless software development lifecycle, from design to release and monitoring.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in blockchain technology and apply innovative solutions to complex challenges.
- Participate in code reviews, ensuring high standards of code quality and security.
- Engage with the Tezos community, contributing to open-source projects and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Engineering degree in Computer Science. Advanced degree preferred.
- Proficient in modern, high-level, and safe programming languages such as OCaml, Rust, Haskell, or Scala. Experience with OCaml is highly desirable but not mandatory.
- Good understanding of critical software systems.
- Experience with software development best practices, including testing, continuous integration, and version control.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Good at teamwork and software engineering best practices (project management, prioritization, continuous delivery, etc).
