About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Transition Advisor to join our team at Afpa, where you will play a crucial role in guiding individuals through their career transition journey. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing personalized support to help individuals succeed in their career transitions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Personalized Guidance: Provide one-on-one guidance and support to individuals throughout their transition process, including skills evaluation, job search assistance, and career development.
  • Collaboration and Partnership Building: Collaborate with beneficiaries to strengthen their autonomy and design personalized support plans, while establishing partnerships with local organizations to enhance career pathways.
  • Outcome Management: Manage and report on the outcomes of your activities to ensure effectiveness and quality, ensuring a seamless experience for individuals.
  • Staying Up-to-Date: Stay updated on support programs, methods, employment sectors, and market trends with the support of our engineering and innovation department.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should hold a minimum of a bachelor's degree in work psychology or human resources, along with professional experience in professional reclassification, integration, career guidance, or employment.

  • Job Search Techniques: Develop and implement effective job search strategies to support individuals in their career transition.
  • Career Development and Job Search Methods: Provide guidance on career development and job search methods, including resume building and interview preparation.
  • Individual Interview Techniques and Group Facilitation: Conduct individual interviews and facilitate group sessions to support individuals in their transition process.
  • Professional Training Programs and VAE: Develop and implement professional training programs and VAE (Validation of Acquired Experience) to support individuals in their career development.
  • Business Creation and Restart: Provide guidance on the steps and processes related to creating or restarting a business.
