We are seeking a Lead IT Business Analyst with a minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis. This role is open to candidates across Europe who are fluent in English.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and sustain business analysis deliverables, including use cases, requirements documentation, mock-ups, user stories, and data models;
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather, document, prioritize, analyze, and validate business needs and solution requirements;
- Assist the Team Coordinator/Release Manager in managing the product and iteration backlogs;
- Utilize Agile Project Management tools and DevOps platforms (e.g., Azure DevOps);
- Support business analysts, project managers, and business stakeholders in decision-making processes;
- Prepare and maintain software requirement specifications;
- Organize and facilitate workshops (both on-site and online);
- Conduct feasibility studies and perform cost-benefit analyses;
- Create technical documentation;
- Review and edit technical documents produced by others;
- Draft and maintain technical and end-user documentation for information systems throughout their development lifecycle;
- Verify technical and end-user documentation against applications;
- Generate IT technical documentation in the context of Proof of Concepts and Feasibility Studies;
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree;
- 5 to 9 years of relevant experience in business analysis;
- Proficient in analysis and modeling tools and techniques (e.g., use case diagrams, state diagrams, entity relationship models, interaction diagrams);
- Familiarity with BPMN or UML or equivalent methodologies;
- Experience with Enterprise Architect is a plus;
- Strong skills in preparing and writing business analysis documentation;
- Good understanding of administrative business processes in large organizations;
- Advanced knowledge of industry best practices in Business Analysis (e.g., BABOK);
- Excellent knowledge of UML;
- Advanced understanding of Agile Project Management methodologies (e.g., DevOps, Scrum);
- Adept at understanding new business contexts;
- Ability to gather requirements remotely using suitable techniques (e.g., MS Teams) to ensure high-quality documentation;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Capable of efficiently summarizing large volumes of information;
- Good knowledge of the current IT landscape and up-to-date with the latest technologies;
- Skills in organizing and facilitating meetings;
- Exceptional presentation abilities;
- Knowledge of and certification in at least one Agile Project Management methodology (e.g., DevOps, Scrum, Agile Practitioner) is advantageous;
- Experience with work item management tools (e.g., DevOps Azure);
- Fluent in English;
