Mission Overview
The individual selected for this role will undertake the following responsibilities:
- Engage in the structuring and oversight of UCITS and alternative investment vehicles, both current and forthcoming, across various jurisdictions including Luxembourg, France, and the Netherlands.
- Facilitate the establishment of new management entities and uphold the existing contractual framework (negotiation of delegation, advisory, and exclusivity agreements).
- Formulate derivative agreements (ETD and OTC, ISDA, CSA, Pledge).
- Implement index licensing agreements, marketing rights, and related contracts.
- Participate in the negotiation of distribution and data sharing agreements: distribution contracts, platform agreements, data dissemination to vendors, and partnership arrangements.
- Contribute to the contractual negotiation of cross-departmental initiatives (IT, organizational changes, transitions).
- Centralize, coordinate, and oversee general legal negotiations.
Required Qualifications
A Master’s degree in Financial Markets or Legal Studies is essential.
A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience as a legal professional within a financial institution, ideally with prior experience in a law firm.
Experience in structuring intricate financial products, particularly Hedge Funds and Private Equity, is advantageous.
Proficiency in Asset Management is crucial.
Familiarity with relevant regulations is necessary.
Confirmed experience with derivative contracts (ISDA) is mandatory.
