About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior SURF Engineering Manager to lead our team in the pre-Project, FEED, Call For Tender, and Project Execution Phase of a major very Deep Water greenfield Project in Namibia.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate the SURF engineering team members during pre-Project, FEED, Call For Tender preparation, Call For Tender review, tenders technical evaluation, Contract finalization, Project preparation, and Project execution.
- Ensure progress, fitness for purpose, and compliance with Company Rules and Specifications, Project requirements, and international codes of all engineering for umbilicals, flowlines, risers, and associated items during all Project phases.
- Be responsible for all pre-Project and FEED engineering activities and manage all Pre-project and FEED contractor technical activities.
- Review, assess fitness for purpose and compliance with Project and Company requirements of SURF Tenderers Technical offers.
- Define, develop, issue, and maintain all necessary technical documentation related to the Project SURF package.
- Master's degree in engineering and strong experience in engineering for SURF equipment (as a minimum rigid flowlines, rigid spools, rigid risers, umbilical and jumpers).
- Professional Experience: at least 15 years in detailed engineering and execution phases (procurement, fabrication, construction, installation, pre-commissioning) related to SURF equipment.
- Experience within project: at least 10 years in large offshore oil & gas SURF projects.
