Our client, a leading European logistics and food transportation company, is seeking a seasoned logistics professional to join their team as a Logistics Activity Manager.

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:

As a Logistics Activity Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the logistics department, including:

  • Managing a team of logistics professionals and ensuring the smooth execution of daily tasks

  • Coordinating with clients to meet their logistics needs and ensure timely delivery

  • Maintaining high-quality standards in logistics operations

  • Participating in cross-functional projects to improve logistics processes and efficiency

  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations on site

  • Motivating and developing your team to achieve exceptional results

  • Onboarding and training new team members to ensure a seamless integration

  • Collaborating with other departments to achieve business objectives

Requirements

We are seeking a seasoned logistics professional with a strong background in management and operations. The ideal candidate will have:

Proven experience in logistics management, preferably in the transportation, distribution, or manufacturing sectors

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues

A strong understanding of logistics processes and procedures, with the ability to analyze and improve operations
