As a Senior Enterprise IT Security Engineer at Datadog, you will play a critical role in securing the company's IT infrastructure and protecting its data. The Enterprise IT Security team is responsible for implementing and maintaining a robust security posture, including endpoint protection, threat detection, and vulnerability management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Datadog's data.
- Collaborate with other security teams to improve threat intelligence, incident response, and vulnerability management.
- Use machine learning and LLMs to develop systems for improved threat detection and response, data classification, DLP, and the reduction of risk.
- Contribute to Datadog's enterprise security roadmaps by staying up to date with the latest security threats and making recommendations for improving our security posture.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on data security best practices.
Requirements:
- Several years of experience in IT security, with a focus on endpoint protection, threat detection, and vulnerability management.
- Demonstrable knowledge of security frameworks and protocols, including SAML, OAUTH, ODIC, and SCIM.
- Proficiency in the automation and integration of cloud-based systems using high-level languages like Python or Go, IaC, and CICD pipelines.
- Experience with identity and access management systems, including SaaS platforms and IaaS platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to reason about complex data security challenges.
