The Laboratoire National de Santé (LNS) is currently seeking a highly qualified medical geneticist to join its clinical genetics team at the Centre National de Génétique. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert clinical oncogenetic consultations and participating in multidisciplinary meetings for oncogenetic patient management.

The LNS is a major player in Luxembourg's healthcare sector, serving patients, doctors, and hospitals across the country. As a multidisciplinary public institution, the LNS is organized around six medical departments, two of which are designated as national diagnostic centers for human genetics and pathology.
The LNS employs around 400 highly qualified staff with diverse backgrounds, working together to develop analytical activities and scientific expertise in the prevention, diagnosis, and monitoring of human diseases. The institution also collaborates with the University of Luxembourg and other biomedical research institutions on research and teaching activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert clinical oncogenetic consultations
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings for oncogenetic patient management
- Supervise oncogenetic consultants and doctors undergoing specialization
- Monitor literature on oncogenetics and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and recommendations
- Participate in oncogenetics working groups within national public health programs
Requirements
- Doctor in medicine with a specialty title in Human Genetics
- Eligible to obtain a license to practice as a physician in Luxembourg
- At least two years' experience in clinical oncogenetics
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Proficiency in one of the national languages (Luxembourgish, German, French) is mandatory, with excellent written and spoken English skills (minimum B2)
