Job Summary
La Vie au Grand Air | Priorité Enfance is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Specialized Educator to join our team. As a Specialized Educator, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to 6 children and adolescents with multiple needs in a daily basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement personalized projects for each child, taking into account their unique needs and abilities.
- Organize and lead daily activities, including leisure time and overnight stays, to promote socialization, learning, and personal growth.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with the children's families, as well as with external professionals, such as healthcare providers and social workers.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure a smooth and efficient daily routine, including meal times, homework, and personal care.
- Monitor and report on the children's progress, including their academic, social, and emotional development.
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of new programs and initiatives.
Requirements
- Degree in Special Education, Social Work, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with children with multiple needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Permit B (driver's license) is an asset.
Working Conditions
- Full-time position, with a minimum of 3 nights per week and 1 weekend every 2 weeks.
- Internat accommodation is provided.
- 50% reimbursement of public transportation costs.
- Extension of the Ségur agreement.
Location
Post based in Paris 15th arrondissement (metro Convention).
