Join Our Team as a Metallography Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Metallography Technician to join our team at Saint-Gobain PAM. As a key member of our research and development center, you will be responsible for conducting metallographic studies on metallic materials as part of our R&D projects.

About the Role

As a Metallography Technician, you will be working under the supervision of a senior technician to prepare and analyze metal samples using various techniques, including microscopical analysis and mechanical testing. Your primary objective will be to provide high-quality results that support our research and development activities.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct metallographic studies on metallic materials using various techniques, including microscopical analysis and mechanical testing.
  • Prepare and analyze metal samples to provide high-quality results that support our research and development activities.
  • Work under the supervision of a senior technician to ensure the quality and accuracy of your work.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve project goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in metallurgy or a related field.
  • Knowledge of metallurgy and metallography principles.
  • Experience with metallographic techniques, including microscopical analysis and mechanical testing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
