Job Summary

The IT Infrastructure Security Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the security and integrity of Lonza's IT infrastructure. This position is responsible for implementing and maintaining robust security controls, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving security culture within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement secure infrastructure solutions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements such as GxP and GDPR.
  • Develop and maintain vulnerability remediation plans, including system hardening, patching, and lifecycle management.
  • Collaborate with IT Infrastructure teams to ensure secure configuration of new and existing assets.
  • Drive security awareness and education within the organization, promoting a culture of security and compliance.
  • Support IT Security-related infrastructure services and identify opportunities for improvement.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or Information Security, or equivalent work- or education-related experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Information Technology, with a minimum of 1 year in Information Security.
  • Professional security management certification, such as CISSP, and relevant vendor and industry certifications.
  • Knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory requirements, including SOX, HIPAA, and GDPR.
  • Knowledge of common information security management frameworks, such as ISO/IEC 27001, ITIL, and COBIT.
