We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT professional to join our team as a Senior IT Infrastructure Specialist at Connect Vision International. This role involves the administration and operation of on-premises and cloud-based Windows servers, including physical and virtual environments, as well as Active Directory domains.
Key Responsibilities- Active Directory Management: Create, maintain, migrate, and delete AD user accounts, manage security groups, Group Policy Objects, and provision access rights.
- System Monitoring and Maintenance: Proactively monitor server and network systems, perform patching and updates, and ensure the operational condition of IT infrastructure.
- Automation and Scripting: Utilize PowerShell and other scripting languages to automate repetitive tasks and generate reports.
- Incident Resolution: Respond to and resolve incidents, providing engineering solutions to maintain system integrity.
- Server Deployment and Configuration: Deploy and configure Microsoft Windows servers, both physical and virtual, using technologies such as VMWare vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, and Azure.
- Backup Management: Oversee the management and monitoring of server environment backups.
- Documentation: Maintain and update technical documentation related to system configurations and procedures.
- University degree in Computer Engineering or a related field (BAC +4/+5).
- Minimum of 3+ years in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Windows Server Administration (2003 to 2022) and Active Directory.
- Experience with DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and automation via PowerShell.
- Knowledge of VMware vSphere, MS Hyper-V, and Azure Cloud.
- Familiarity with Veeam Backup, certificate services, and deploying HPE servers.
- Understanding of LDAP and SAML.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to emergency situations.
- Management of server-based and workstation-based Windows operating systems.
