Job Title: Discipline Engineer

Automotive Cells Company (ACC) is seeking a highly skilled Discipline Engineer to join our team in Bruges near Bordeaux. As a Discipline Engineer, you will play a key role in the development and implementation of control and measurement systems for our manufacturing plants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement control and measurement systems for manufacturing plants
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize measurement needs
  • Search for new technologies and suppliers to optimize quality, costs, and integration in the manufacturing line
  • Qualify new solutions before implementation in our future manufacturing lines
  • Analyze process flows to identify needs in control and instrumentation equipment
  • Propose adapted solutions within a team from all departments for each measurement need
  • Write equipment technical specifications in respect of industrial constraints and technical requirements
  • Review and validate specifications with a cross-functional team
  • Share specifications with potential equipment suppliers and analyze their technical solutions
  • Lead selected suppliers during equipment realization to respect objectives of safety, quality, cost, performance, and lead time
  • Ensure setup, initial calibration, and operational training for installed equipment
  • Define and standardize equipment maintenance procedures
Requirements:
  • 5 years of experience as an Engineer or 10 years as a Technician in industrialization involving automated control and measurement equipment
  • Knowledge in Metrology/Laboratory Management
  • Bachelor or Master in Science: Mechanical, chemical, industrial, or physics engineering
  • Fluent in French and English, German optional
