About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer to join our Order Management System team at Amadeus. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop software components for the Order Management System
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of software solutions
  • Work closely with product management, technical business analysts, and quality assurance teams to create and develop high-quality code
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
  • Troubleshoot and investigate defects raised by customers to ensure compliance with specifications and system integrity
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Fluent English required
  • Experience in Agile methodology
  • Customer focus, dynamic/creative way of working
  • Flexibility, adaptability to fast-changing business and technical environment
  • Team player, multicultural approach, eager to learn from others and share knowledge
  • Good written and oral communication abilities
Preferred Skills
  • Java and Python programming languages
  • Kafka and streaming concepts knowledge
  • Cloud computing experience, including virtualization, containers, and cloud-native architectures
  • MongoDB experience
  • Experience with DIH/Pulse
