Cheval Blanc Paris seeks a dedicated and passionate Kitchen Assistant to join our esteemed team at Langosteria, our renowned Italian restaurant.
As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen by assisting chefs with various tasks. Your responsibilities will encompass preparing ingredients, supporting the culinary team in dish preparation, and maintaining impeccable hygiene standards throughout the kitchen environment.
Your Responsibilities:- Prepare ingredients for cooking according to recipes and instructions provided by chefs.
- Assist Demi Chefs de Partie and Chefs de Partie with various tasks involved in preparing dishes.
- Ensure that all service procedures adhere to the hotel's established guidelines and protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to HACCP standards for food safety and hygiene.
- Participate in receiving deliveries of goods, ensuring compliance with HACCP protocols.
- Assist in setting up and serving dishes according to presentation standards.
- Contribute to waste sorting and disposal procedures.
- Report any potential safety hazards or concerns to management promptly.
- Possess a BEP/CAP Cuisine or BAC PRO Cuisine diploma.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of HACCP hygiene regulations.
- Have prior experience working in the luxury hospitality or fine dining industry.
- Exhibit meticulous attention to detail, precision, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrate a strong team spirit and willingness to collaborate effectively.
- Be flexible, adaptable, and available to work according to operational needs.
- Possess a genuine passion for the hospitality and culinary arts.
Previous experience as a Kitchen Assistant or significant internships in a luxury hotel or Michelin-starred restaurant are highly desirable.
