About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Clerk - Stocker to join our team at Chausson Matériaux in Angoulême. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, and shipping merchandise to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments to ensure accuracy and quality
• Store merchandise in a safe and secure manner, using inventory management systems to track stock levels
• Prepare and load merchandise for shipment to customers, using material handling equipment as needed
• Identify and locate merchandise in the warehouse, using knowledge of inventory locations and product codes
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety and quality standards

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a warehouse or logistics environment
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to lift up to 25 kg and stand for long periods, with regular breaks
• Basic computer skills, with knowledge of inventory management software
