Educational Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Educational Specialist to join our team at the Centre Hospitalier de Châteauroux. As a key member of our psychiatric care team, you will play a vital role in providing therapeutic education and support to children and adolescents.

• Develop and implement individualized education plans to promote social and emotional growth
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify areas of need and develop targeted interventions
• Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on mental health topics and coping strategies
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and experiences
• Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders to promote collaborative care

• Diploma in Educational Specialization (DEES) or equivalent
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with children and adolescents in a psychiatric setting
