Cyber Security Specialist

Binance is a leading global blockchain ecosystem and cryptocurrency infrastructure provider. We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Officer to join our team.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement security standards and processes to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and data.
- Conduct security risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigation.
- Collaborate with the CISO to ensure the security of our business, data, and clients' funds.
- Implement French and European Banking Regulations requirements for security and IT.
- Design, build, maintain, and operate an Information Security Management System (ISMS) and a Physical Information Management System (PIMS).
- Apply industry best practices within a global financial services firm.
- Produce monthly ISMS reporting for MENA entities and regional reports.
- Assist in implementing a best-in-class security department.
- Contribute to the alignment of Binance to international security standards.
- Direct involvement in ensuring policies are implemented across the business.
- Conduct awareness sessions for staff and create posters.
- Clean desk checks and post-incident reviews.
- Conduct risk management for security risks that threaten the business.
- Collaborate with other teams to deliver an effective InfoSec risk management regime.
- Find solutions to problems and consult with stakeholders for timely delivery.
- Fluency in English and French, with a current residence in France.
- Proven implementation of European and French regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Security, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a Big 4 firm and/or financial services.
- ISO27001 auditor or implementor, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CCP preferred.
- Application of innovative security assurance techniques and report production.
- Experience in security management information reporting.
- Broad experience in the secure operation of networks, core infrastructure, and systems.
- Understanding of operation and governance of patch and vulnerability management.
- Understanding of SOC/SIEM delivery and actions from reporting.
- Experience in scoping and managing PASSI audits and delivering successful audits.
- Experience in driving positive change in a complex, fast-paced environment.
- First-hand experience in implementing best-in-class information security.
- Excellent communication and planning skills.
