About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Digital Transformation Strategist to join our team at Hitachi Vantara. As a key member of our Digital Partnerships team, you will be responsible for driving digital transformation within the rail sector by leveraging Hitachi's digital capabilities and offerings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic digital transformation initiatives in the rail sector, identifying opportunities and developing strategies to drive growth and innovation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Hitachi digital companies to align their offerings with the rail sector's requirements.
  • Facilitate collaboration and ensure cohesive integration of services and solutions to deliver comprehensive and innovative solutions tailored to the rail industry.
  • Design customized digital solutions that address the specific challenges and goals of rail industry clients.
  • Conduct market analysis to understand trends, challenges, and opportunities within the rail sector.
  • Develop business development plans and strategies to expand Hitachi's digital footprint in the rail industry.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with rail industry clients, acting as a trusted digital advisor and partner.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in Sales, Consultancy, and Digital Transformation of Operational Technology (OT) Industry, including Rail, from a Services/Consultancy Industry in Digital/IT.
  • Experience within a large GSI environment.
  • Deep experience in the rail industry (or comparable mission-critical, safety-critical industry such as aviation or defence), with a strong background in digital transformation and consultancy services.
  • Proven track record of managing complex & international projects involving multiple stakeholders from different business units.
  • Proven experience in Digital GTM.
  • Experience working with or within Hitachi digital companies is a plus.
  • Experience and ability to lead and facilitate workshops and knowledge transfer sessions effectively.
  • Highly motivated, with excellent leadership, organisational, communication and people skills.
  • Ability to work and lead in a multicultural environment.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is required.
