About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our Interior Parts QCDT team at Alstom. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful completion of Interior Parts QCDT projects in accordance with our Interior Center of Excellence commitments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Manage the completion of Interior Parts QCDT projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with various stakeholders, including site engineering, CoE Interiors team, procurement, quality, industry, costing, and suppliers, to ensure QCDT deliverables.
  • Design for Quality: Ensure the application of the Design for Quality process, design reviews, and CoE Interiors standard key processes.
  • Bidding Phase: Assist in the preparation of local tenders as a conduit to CoE's bidding or engineering teams.
  • Project Phase: Manage CoE Interiors activities in accordance with contract requirements and CoE Interiors QCDT commitments.
  • Cost Management: Ensure the achievement of recurring and non-recurring costs.
  • Schedule Management: Lead the CoE and supplier schedule through GO IQA.
  • Change Management: Manage change orders up to the ISP.
  • Risk Management: Implement and update the CoE Interiors risk mitigation plan.
  • Operational Quality: Manage operational quality to improve project execution, with support from the Supplier Product Quality Manager and Engineering Quality Manager.
  • Documentation Management: Ensure timely project and customer approval of relevant documentation.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5 years of project management experience in high mix/low volume industries.
  • Cross-Functional Skills: Able to demonstrate cross-functional facilitation skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Able to anticipate issues and be proactive.
  • Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Education: Engineering degree (generalist).
