Empowering Digital Experiences

At Adobe, we're passionate about creating exceptional digital experiences that inspire and delight our customers. We're looking for a skilled Senior Back-End Engineer to join our Adobe 3D & I division and contribute to the development of Adobe Substance 3D Assets.

The Opportunity

As a member of our agile team, you'll work on building a scalable and secure service that enhances the customer experience when searching, evaluating, and downloading 3D assets. Your contributions will range from adding support for new asset types and file formats to ensuring the platform operates resiliently with a high uptime.

What You Will Do

  • Collaborate with our team to design, develop, and deploy scalable and secure back-end services.
  • Write and test high-quality code to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Participate in design reviews to ensure the best technology is used for the task at hand.
  • Review and provide feedback on code developed by other team members to ensure best practices are followed.
  • Lead by example and mentor other team members to help them grow in their careers.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure our services are always available.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms.
  • 3 years of experience with back-end development, with languages such as Go, JavaScript and/or TypeScript, and experience with technologies such as GraphQL, MongoDB.
  • 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, and/or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
  • Proficiency in English, both writing and speaking.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
  • Proficient with TypeScript programming language.
  • Front-end experience including JavaScript and/or TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent.
  • Understanding of 3D concepts (meshes, materials, transforms, etc.), and 3D authoring applications.
  • Experience with systems deployment (AWS, Azure, CI/CD, Docker, monitoring).
