About the Role
We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead our global remote team responsible for maintaining and enhancing IT infrastructure. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in managing day-to-day IT operations and driving strategic initiatives to improve our technology landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the management of open IT support tickets, ensuring timely responses and resolutions.
- Develop and implement KPIs to measure and enhance team performance, ensuring all service levels are met.
- Build and maintain strong communication channels and relationships with team members and end-users to facilitate effective remote collaboration.
- Serve as the escalation point for complex IT issues, providing expert guidance and support.
- Manage and track the performance of all IT projects, ensuring deadlines and standards are met.
- Conduct regular reviews of systems for updates and patches, ensuring the team adheres to security best practices.
- Innovate and suggest new solutions to improve IT operations and team training.
Requirements
- Proven experience in managing global IT teams, with a strong understanding of remote team dynamics.
- Expertise in Office 365, Azure, Intune, and network troubleshooting, including experience with SonicWall.
- Ability to multitask across various IT disciplines and projects effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to build relationships and lead a team across different time zones and regions.
- Demonstrated ability to operate at a high technical level while also focusing on strategic management without being drawn back into day-to-day technical tasks.
- Must meet the technical proficiency of a Level 3 Technician.
- A passion for technology, with a proactive approach to finding and implementing innovative IT solutions.
- A strong educational background in Information Technology or a related field.
