Lengow is a renowned e-commerce platform that has been a driving force in the European market since 2009. Our platform enables businesses to expand their reach across multiple channels, including marketplaces, marketing channels, price monitoring, and dynamic pricing.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Python Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Python development, a deep understanding of clean architecture principles, and a strong background in CI/CD practices, particularly using GitHub Actions and ArgoCD.

The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining our software applications, ensuring they are scalable, maintainable, and robust. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Python applications and services.
  • Clean Architecture: Implement and advocate for clean architecture principles to ensure a scalable, maintainable, and testable codebase.
  • CI/CD Pipeline Management: Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and ArgoCD to automate workflows, deployments, and infrastructure management.
  • Code Review and Mentorship: Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers to uphold best practices and coding standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including DevOps, QA, Product Management, and other developers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Testing: Develop and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure software quality and reliability.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for code, architecture, and CI/CD processes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve the development process.

Requirements:

  • At least 7 years of experience in Python development.
  • Deep understanding of clean architecture principles.
  • Experience in PostgreSQL, AWS, Redis, Celery, and Django.
  • Comfortable working with large data volumes.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills backed by expertise in APM and Datadog.
  • MongoDB and NoSQL skills are a plus.
  • Knowledge of modern CI/CD tooling and Terraform.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
