Job Title: Senior Software Engineer

The Automotive industry is undergoing a revolution, driven by electrification, autonomous driving, diverse mobility, and connectivity. As a Senior Software Engineer at Intel, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of electric and hybrid cars. Our company, Silicon Mobility, is a technology leader in cleaner, safer, and smarter mobility, designing and developing flexible, real-time, safe, and open semiconductor solutions for the automotive industry.

As part of our System and Software Engineering team, you will contribute to the development of software products, responsible for the specification, development, and integration of embedded software in on-board chargers, DC-DC converters, and traction inverters for hybrid and electric vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Requirement analysis and specification writing
  • Participation in software architecture definition and development
  • Embedded software design, development, and testing
  • Documentation writing and code review
  • Contribution to unit, integration, functional, and qualification tests
  • Ensuring software performance and functionality requirements
  • Quality handling to meet A-SPICE and ISO 9001 quality requirements
  • Suggestion and implementation of improvements to the development process
  • Interaction with third parties and customer/supplier technical support
  • Coaching and training of junior engineers
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in embedded software engineering
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in software development in C language
  • Experience in embedded software development on 32-bit RISC CPU environment
  • Good knowledge of System-On-Chip and microcontroller
  • Experience in verification and automatic test development with test tools
  • Knowledge of debugging tools and analytical skills for debugging software
  • ISO 26262 knowledge and experience is a plus
  • Cybersecurity knowledge and experience is an advantage
Language Skills:
  • Fluent in English
  • French speaking is a plus

  • Strong communication and multi-cultural teamwork skills
