Transform the Future of Insurance with Data Science

At Shift Technology, we're harnessing the power of AI to revolutionize the insurance industry. As a Data Scientist intern, you'll play a crucial role in deploying our cutting-edge solutions to clients, working closely with our technical experts to drive product innovation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deploy data processing pipelines for clients, handling tasks such as batch and real-time data processing, data cleansing, and refining fraud detection models.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and feedback, ensuring our solutions meet their requirements effectively.
  • Engage in research and development activities to drive product innovation utilizing advanced technologies like machine learning, image analysis, natural language processing, trend analysis, and chatbots.
  • Work with our sales team to conduct product demonstrations for potential clients.
Requirements:
  • You have or are completing a master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Operations Research, with knowledge in machine learning and/or Big Data.
  • You demonstrate proficiency in object-oriented programming.
  • You're adept at combining robust analytical skills with synthesis abilities, demonstrating a keen eye for detail.
  • You can write high-quality production code.
  • You're comfortable engaging with clients and excel in clear communication, both in English and French.
