Key Responsibilities

The Finance Coordinator is responsible for the scope of 2 entities: Senator France + Senator Spain (except Senator Spain Audit process which is still handled by Spain). May be accountable for some or all of the below:

  • Detailed understanding of processes and SOP's.
  • Adhering to group control (RICC, blackline...)
  • Preparing reliable and accurate accounting information.
  • Informing Supervisor/leader about any process issues.
  • Providing ideas for improvements.
  • Providing accurate financial statements within legal & group deadlines.
  • Managing relationship with auditors and Tax advisors.
  • Supervising accounting both for Senator France & Senator Spain (handled by finance assistant).
Daily Basis

Daily basis (Senator France bookings & Senator Spain supervision)

  • SG&A/operational booking (booking preparation / process improvement/accruals control).
  • SG&A/operational vendors creation/master data update.
  • Reconciliation between PO/SO, accruals and invoices.
  • Contact with SG&A/operational suppliers on specific issues (payment, billing, VAT...).
  • Contact with French Tax administration on specific issues (Tax payments and declaration...).
  • Contact with Deloitte Tax advisor / Bank.
  • Assisting Finance assistant on Senator Spain daily operations and closing.
  • Booking SG&A, assets, tax and payroll.
  • Suppliers' invoices checking/validation/booking (VAT, balances, GL accounts, cost centers...).
  • Payment runs / manual payments / Treasury planning.
Weekly/Monthly Basis

Weekly/Monthly basis

  • Performing controls asked by the group (RICC / Blackline).
  • Performing monthly closing controls.
  • Assisting Group GSC in consolidation & control workings.
  • Expenses Statement checking/validation/booking.
  • Bank reconciliation in ERP.
  • Attendance to Financial control team meetings.
  • P&L and Balance sheet controls.
  • Follow-up on Vendors/Payroll/Tax payments.
Irregular/Yearly Basis

Irregular/Yearly basis

  • Involvement in Group Projects or specific operations (merger...).
  • Yearly Legal audit supervision.
  • Tax advisor supervision for CIT filing.
  • French GAAP and APMM GAAP bridge analysis.
  • Tax & CIT returns filing.
We Are Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in economics, accounting.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Solid computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office products. Advanced Excel skills and ability to quickly adapt to new systems strongly preferred.
  • Previous experience in Logistics field is a huge asset.
  • Language: English and French (fluent in both spoken and written is a must).
