Position Overview: We are seeking a Senior Front End Engineering Lead to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee cross-functional front-end initiatives aimed at improving the daily workflow for front-end engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make essential decisions regarding front-end technologies.
  • Lead a team of 20 front-end developers as part of the front-end chapter.
  • Act as a product manager to define and prioritize the front-end technology roadmap in alignment with the overall product strategy.
  • Collaborate with either the Features or Core Platform teams based on your technical expertise.
  • Establish and prioritize the technical roadmap for front-end development, working closely with the UI/UX team to streamline front-end components.
  • Stay informed about the latest technological advancements and identify opportunities to enhance platform stability and project efficiency.
  • Assess and create a migration strategy for significant updates to critical libraries utilized in our projects.
  • Facilitate weekly meetings to present new technology proofs of concept or discuss strategic directions for the company.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to front-end developers of varying experience levels.

Qualifications:

You should possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in front-end development, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity. Proficiency in React is essential, while familiarity with Vue and/or Angular is advantageous.

Experience in testing React applications using Vitest or Jest, along with React testing libraries, is required. You should be adept at writing quality, reusable, and well-documented code.

Knowledge of the 'Micro-frontend' architecture is a plus. A problem-solving mindset with a focus on simplicity and strong algorithmic thinking is crucial.

Fluency in French and professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is necessary.
