Position Overview: Clinical Sales Associate

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement the clinical sales strategy established by the Clinical Sales Manager to enhance the utilization of the da Vinci Surgical System.
  • Develop expertise in da Vinci Surgery, with a focus on core applications relevant to the region, to support the establishment of surgical robotics programs.
  • Participate in and assist with regional Sales and Marketing initiatives to increase awareness and adoption of the da Vinci system.
  • Create tailored da Vinci Surgery plans for each surgical team, ensuring their capability to operate the system independently based on their workload and access to the technology.
  • Encourage the use of the da Vinci system by collaborating with surgical teams to evaluate and select appropriate cases, ensuring consistent application of the technology.
  • Continuously expand the user base by engaging with key hospital personnel and leading surgeons to build a robust sales pipeline, with support from the Clinical Sales Manager during interactions with senior hospital staff and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
  • Facilitate training sessions for surgical teams, helping them understand system functionalities, integration within the operating room, and applications of da Vinci Surgery.
  • Provide ongoing support to surgical teams, offering insights and assistance in operating the da Vinci Surgical System during procedures.
  • Manage administrative responsibilities, including sales/procedure reporting, tracking sales outcomes, and submitting expense reports.
Qualifications

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in the medical device industry or prior sales roles in healthcare is essential.
  • Proven track record of success in sales support or direct sales roles.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are necessary.
  • Fluency in English and the local language is required.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% based on account distribution needs.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Familiarity with the Operating Room setting is preferred.
