Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Health, Safety, and Environmental (EHS) Director to join our team at Albea Tubes. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a strong safety and environmental culture within the organization.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive EHS management system to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
- Lead the development of EHS policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Conduct regular site safety inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement EHS training programs and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and industry stakeholders to stay up-to-date on emerging trends and best practices.
- Provide leadership and guidance to EHS professionals to ensure the effective implementation of EHS programs and policies.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in EHS leadership roles, preferably in the automotive industry or similar.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing effective EHS management systems and policies.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
- Fluent English language skills.
- Ability to travel internationally as required.
