ADM is seeking a dedicated Health and Safety Professional to join our team in St. Louis, MO.
Reporting directly to the Marine Health & Safety Director, this role will provide essential leadership and support to ensure a safe and compliant work environment across ADM's marine facilities and vessels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate in the development and refinement of comprehensive health and safety programs tailored to our unique operational needs.
- Conduct thorough audits to assess compliance with established policies and procedures, identifying areas for improvement.
- Provide expert guidance and recommendations on safety action plans, mitigating potential risks and promoting a proactive safety culture.
- Cultivate a strong commitment to safety among all personnel through engaging training programs and fostering open communication.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of existing safety programs, implementing data-driven solutions to enhance performance.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of relevant environmental regulations and ensure compliance across all operations.
- Lead and actively participate in safety initiatives, driving continuous improvement and promoting a culture of accountability.
- Conduct thorough investigations into incidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Serve as a liaison with governmental entities, ensuring seamless communication and adherence to regulatory requirements.
Environmental Stewardship:
- Ensure compliance with site-specific environmental plans, minimizing our impact on the surrounding ecosystem.
- Utilize ADM's comprehensive environmental data management systems to track performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- Minimum five years of experience in environmental health and safety within a similar industry setting.
