Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Deployment Specialist to join our team at Dedalus. As a key member of our IT Operations Centre, you will be responsible for delivering technical deployment services, configuring and personalizing infrastructure hosting Dedalus solutions or third-party products for clients and internal personnel, in a project start-up scenario.
Key Responsibilities
- Discuss options, choices, and solutions related to the product/solution with the client and third parties.
- Install, synchronize, update, and migrate (e.g., databases, operating systems, and Dedalus or third-party products/solutions, etc.).
- Configure, personalize, and integrate hardware or software components into the IT infrastructure.
- Meet project budget requirements and intervene on billable days.
- Document/communicate in accordance with project directives (e.g., status, intervention report).
- Develop technical test plans in compliance with the expected technical scope and validate services based on the test plan.
- Manage client expectations; request and control client cooperation.
- Analyze client-specific requests in accordance with contract client specifications/instructions.
Additional Responsibilities
- Participate in testing new products.
- Write and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
- Develop collaboration between services.
Requirements
- Initial degree (BAC+3 to BAC+5) in computer science.
- Confirmed experience (5 years minimum and ideally 7 years) in a similar role.
- Good mastery of Windows and Linux operating systems, as well as Oracle database systems.
- Recognized ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, and desire to develop skills in technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
Location
This position is available on a full-time basis at one of our various sites: Plessis-Robinson (92), Lille (59), Strasbourg (67), Lyon (69), Valence (26), Bordeaux (33), Toulouse (31), with the possibility of regular or permanent remote work.
