We are currently seeking an Industrial Automation and IT Systems Manager to join our Technical Department.

Your Role:

As a key player in our organization, you will oversee the entire scope of Operational Technology (OT), which includes automated systems (API/PLC, SCADA, Sensors, Actuators) and Industrial Computing (MES, CMMS, Network Infrastructures, Cybersecurity protocols, IoT) across our facilities. Your responsibilities will encompass providing technical support, guiding industrial investments, and shaping the strategic direction of our automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership:
    • Conduct feasibility assessments for OT investment projects,
    • Serve as the primary contact for local teams on technical decisions,
    • Ensure that performance targets are met, and that technical specifications and timelines are adhered to, including the selection of subcontractors and oversight of installation and commissioning processes.
  • Technical Support:
    • Configure and optimize OT systems to meet specific operational needs,
    • Perform troubleshooting and preventive and corrective maintenance on existing systems,
    • Collaborate with local teams (Maintenance, Production QSE) to ensure the effective use of tools and technologies.
  • Strategy and Organization:
    • Participate in and validate Medium-Term Plans, project prioritization, and organizational structure,
    • Act as the OT reference for the company, ensuring consistency and sharing best practices with other entities,
    • Lead an internal network to foster innovation and continuous improvement,
    • Maintain technical vigilance in the field.

Qualifications:

You should possess a degree in Engineering or a related field, ideally with a specialization in Industrial Automation and IT Systems, along with substantial experience in a multi-site manufacturing environment. Proven expertise in designing, configuring, and optimizing automation systems (API/PLC), SCADA systems, and managing industrial networks and cybersecurity is essential. Proficiency in programming languages (LD, FBD, ST) and familiarity with industrial communication protocols (Profibus, Modbus, Ethernet/IP) are required. Strong communication skills and a proactive approach are necessary to effectively lead and manage both internal and external stakeholders. You should be organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously. Professional proficiency in English (B2/C1) is expected.
