We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IP & Grants Manager to join our team at C12 Quantum Electronics. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accurate documentation and legal protection of our innovations in quantum computing.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the creation and editing of patent applications, ensuring precise and comprehensive documentation of our quantum computing innovations.
- Collaborate with our scientists, engineers, IP counsel, and inventors to convey complex technical information, ensuring all documentation meets technical and legal standards.
- Develop and implement strategies for patent extensions, tracking patent applications, and managing patent-related processes.
- Conduct freedom-to-operate studies and support other departments, including contracts, corporate law, HR, mergers & acquisitions, and tax.
- Support the writing and editing of critical technical documents, including research reports and grant proposals, to support our ongoing projects.
- Master's degree or PhD in a technical field, such as engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in technical writing, with a strong emphasis on patent writing. Experience as a patent agent or IP counsel is highly preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English.
- Meticulous and exceptional organizational skills.
- Ability to understand and clearly explain complex technical concepts, particularly in quantum physics and quantum computing.
- Proficiency in documentation tools and software to create, manage, and edit technical documents.
