Utility Maintenance Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Utility Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Accor. As a key member of our facilities operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our utilities and maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our guests and employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service to our guests and colleagues.
- Takes meter readings - utilities and performs minor repairs to furniture, plumbing, electrical, and other equipment.
- Replaces fire extinguishers, strips and replaces electrical/carpentry, hardware, and performs cleaning in all equipment areas, vents, piping, floors, and shops.
- Grouts tile, sinks, and tubs and installs non-slip strips.
- Follows departmental policies and procedures, as well as all safety and sanitation policies.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
- Highly responsible and reliable, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
Physical Aspects of the Position:
- Frequent walking and standing throughout shift.
- Occasional lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs.
- Frequent bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling.
- Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, and ramps.
