Heavy Truck Driver

NatUp's Univert Transport is seeking a dedicated Heavy-Duty Truck Driver to play a vital role in our agricultural supply chain. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of essential agricultural inputs to farms and depots across the region.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage your daily routes efficiently.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip vehicle inspections to guarantee safety and compliance.
• Oversee the loading process, ensuring accurate documentation and secure cargo handling.
• Operate your heavy-duty truck in accordance with all traffic regulations and safety protocols.
• Communicate arrival times to recipients, providing excellent customer service.
• Handle unloading procedures and complete all necessary paperwork accurately.
• Utilize onboard computer systems to record delivery information and maintain accurate logs.
• Provide comprehensive tour summaries to your supervisor upon completion of each route.
• Maintain the vehicle in optimal condition, promptly addressing any maintenance needs.

During periods of reduced farm and depot activity, you may be assigned to transport cereals in hoppers, demonstrating your versatility and adaptability within our operations.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a valid driver's license, FIMO/FCOS certification, and a strong understanding of the Normandy region. CACES certification and ADR training are desirable assets. Excellent time management skills, basic math proficiency, and familiarity with onboard computer systems are essential for success in this role.
