ESTBB seeks a visionary leader to guide its academic endeavors as Deputy Director of Academic Affairs. Reporting directly to the School Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our institution within UCLy and the broader university landscape.
As a member of the School's Management Committee, your responsibilities extend beyond traditional academic oversight. You will actively contribute to strategic planning, organizational development, and administrative excellence at ESTBB. In the absence of the School Director, you will serve as the primary representative of ESTBB both internally and externally.
Your Expertise Will Drive Academic Success:
- Lead the development and implementation of innovative academic programs, ensuring alignment with national and international quality standards.
- Cultivate and manage strategic partnerships with other academic institutions to enhance educational opportunities for our students.
- Oversee student affairs, providing comprehensive guidance and support throughout their academic journey.
- Champion program evaluation and development initiatives, fostering continuous improvement in teaching quality and student outcomes.
Your Impact Will Extend Beyond the Classroom:
You will actively promote ESTBB's reputation through targeted recruitment efforts and collaboration with marketing teams within UCLy. Your contributions will be instrumental in attracting talented students and expanding our reach through initiatives such as the Parcoursup process.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- PhD in life sciences, ideally with a specialization in biotechnology engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in higher education, including significant leadership experience within an academic setting.
