Climate and Social Impact Project Manager

The AXA Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sustainability Project Officer to join its Global Communications Department. As a key member of the Group Sustainability team, you will play a crucial role in driving sustainability within the company.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the development of strategic initiatives and projects that promote sustainability and environmental responsibility within the AXA Group.
- Collaborate with various functions within the company to ensure the effective implementation of sustainability strategies and goals.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including external organizations and industry partners, to advance the company's sustainability agenda.
- Provide technical expertise and support to the Group Sustainability team on sustainability-related matters, including environmental impact assessments, social responsibility initiatives, and climate change mitigation strategies.
- Assist in the development and implementation of sustainability reporting and disclosure frameworks, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Support the coordination of sustainability-related projects and initiatives, including the Women in Insurance Program, climate and nature investment and underwriting policies, and the development of new commitments.
- Advanced degree in a relevant field, such as sustainability, environmental science, or business administration.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a related field, preferably in financial services or consulting.
- Strong understanding of sustainability principles, practices, and reporting frameworks, including the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including employees, customers, and external partners.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English and French, with the ability to communicate complex sustainability concepts and ideas in a clear and concise manner.
- Dynamic, proactive, and forward-looking mindset, with a strong commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility.
