Position Overview

We are seeking an Embedded Systems Software Engineer with a robust focus on software development and automation to create the software that powers our sensing and predictive systems.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with hardware and product engineering teams, as well as the research department. Your objective will be to simplify hardware complexities by delivering optimal software solutions for our product and research initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain the embedded Linux platform for our sensors (including cameras, radar, audio, and LEDs).
  • Create and manage our toolchain, automated build systems, and testing and performance frameworks.
  • Oversee device system updates and implement security enhancements.
  • Work with the research team to refine algorithms for device integration.
  • Foster a technology culture that values diversity and excellence.
Qualifications
  • Proficient coding skills in C/C++ and familiarity with at least one additional programming language such as Python, Kotlin, or Go.
  • Strong debugging and analytical skills.
  • Proven experience with Embedded Linux systems (Yocto, Buildroot, or similar).
  • Experience in Linux kernel driver or U-Boot development is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of security practices is a plus.
  • Background in Open Source development is beneficial.
