As a key member of the SNCF team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of our rolling stock. You will work closely with various departments, including Innovation & Research, Material Management, and external partners to define and specify the architecture of innovative protection systems that meet customer needs and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Define and specify the architecture of protection systems, following a structured approach to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Pilot interfaces between different stakeholders, including SNCF departments, suppliers, and external partners.
- Develop and animate system modeling using Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles, including tracking of requirements.
- Pilot activities related to system safety and functionality.
- Monitor and evaluate the design process, assess supplier processes, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate activities of engineers involved in the project for the subsystem.
- Define and implement verification and validation activities.
- Ensure anomaly tracking, project follow-up, and interface with system teams and specialties within the train project framework.
We are looking for a highly skilled engineer with a strong background in electronics and embedded systems, preferably with a Master's degree (Bac +5). A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in system engineering is required, with a focus on complex systems and experience in the transportation sector (public, urban, or rail). Experience in associations and a minimum B1 level of English are also desirable.
