Senior Marketing and Communications Strategist

Position Overview: The Senior Marketing and Communications Specialist will play a pivotal role in effectively positioning and promoting the brand, company, products, and services to all stakeholders, both internally and externally, with a focus on a "Customer 1st" philosophy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement innovative marketing strategies that enhance brand visibility.
  • Oversee advertising initiatives across various platforms including radio, social media, television, and promotional events.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research to analyze trends, brand perception, and competitive landscape.
  • Administer surveys to gauge customer needs and brand sentiment.
  • Create compelling content for a variety of marketing materials such as brochures, press releases, newsletters, and digital platforms.
  • Monitor campaign performance through various metrics and prepare detailed reports.
  • Execute communication strategies aligned with business growth objectives, increasing awareness of programs and priorities.
  • Ensure all communications adhere to brand guidelines and corporate objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategic communication plans that support business goals.
  • Act as the primary spokesperson for media inquiries.
  • Establish a robust media and stakeholder engagement strategy to achieve business objectives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including media representatives and regulatory bodies.
  • Foster collaboration with teams such as HR, Sales, and Corporate to achieve internal communication goals.
  • Identify communication gaps and opportunities, proposing strategies to address them.
  • Provide strategic counsel to leadership on enhancing communication efforts and fostering advocacy.
  • Manage the operations of the Marketing and Corporate Communications department, ensuring efficient execution of functions.
  • Oversee budget planning, monitoring, and reporting to maintain financial accountability.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a dynamic business environment, preferably within the telecommunications sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to craft and implement communication strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Strong analytical skills with a creative approach to problem-solving.
  • Comfortable engaging with senior management and external partners.
  • Integrity in handling sensitive information and resolving issues.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
