Clinical Data Science Lead
Il y a 2 mois
ICON plc is a world-leading healthcare intelligence and clinical research organization. We're proud to foster an inclusive environment driving innovation and excellence, and we welcome you to be part of our mission to shape the future of clinical development.
At ICON, it's our people that set us apart. Our diverse teams enable us to become a better partner to our customers and help us to fulfill our mission to advance and improve patients' lives.
Our 'Own It' culture is driven by four key values that bring us together as individuals and set us apart as an organization: Accountability & Delivery, Collaboration, Partnership, and Integrity. We want to be the Clinical Research Organization that delivers excellence to our clients and to patients at every touch-point. In short, to be the partner of choice in drug development.
As a Principal Clinical Data Science Lead, you will be responsible for providing expert oversight knowledge of clinical data management/clinical data science and data review activities. You will have an advanced understanding of protocol content and interpretation of critical data and data review requirements.
You will be able to react and adapt requirements, processes, and timelines in an agile manner. You will track and keep functional management and those responsible for project management informed of any issues that might affect project target dates, scope, or budget and escalate potential problems effectively and in a timely manner.
You will work independently and with other project leads, as needed, to negotiate timelines and key deliverables with clients and/or external customers and departments. You will understand project level revenue recognition/forecasting process and provide input regarding actual and forecasts units/hrs (revenue and resources) to the CDS PM.
Other responsibilities may be assigned as required. You will also be expected to travel (approximately 15%) domestic and/or international. You will be the Functional Team Lead and primary point of contact for internal and external project team for CDS.
Typically 8+ years of experience. An equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience may be considered in place of the education and experience stated. Strong leadership and project management skills are required. Established Mentor and/or SME.
Problem Solving:
Problems are not defined and sufficient information to define problems may not be available. Limited precedence or guidance may not be available. You will undertake analysis and investigation to identify and define problems. You will anticipate future issues.
Impact:
You will establish approach and lead resources to achieve operational and strategic plans. Impact is based on medium-term and long-term goals. Work is done independently but reviewed at critical points.
Interpersonal Skills:
You will adapt style and use persuasion in delivering messages. You will present and defend analysis and secure approval on complex matters.
Benefits of Working in ICON:
Our success depends on the quality of our people. That's why we've made it a priority to build a culture that rewards high performance and nurtures talent.
We offer very competitive salary packages. And to keep them competitive, we regularly benchmark them against our competitors. Our annual bonuses reflect delivery of performance goals – both ours and yours. We also provide a range of health-related benefits to employees and their families and offer competitive retirement plans – and related benefits such as life assurance – so you can save and plan with confidence for the years ahead.
But beyond the competitive salaries and comprehensive benefits, you'll benefit from an environment where you are encouraged to fulfill your sense of purpose and drive lasting change.
