Job Title: Tendering Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Tendering Manager to join our team at SPIE Nigeria Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for participating in the preparation of technical and commercial offers, ensuring that risks are taken into account, and guaranteeing the relevance of offers while ensuring compliance with Group procedures, deadlines, and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Comply with and ensure compliance with QHSE rules, OGS' instructions, and procedures.
  • Analyze clients' calls for tender and synthesize information to facilitate decision-making.
  • Prepare risk analyses of calls for tender.
  • Coordinate all aspects of tendering, from analysis to contract award.
  • Manage validation systems.
  • Coordinate and ensure timely delivery of full bids in liaison with bid managers and country managers.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate standards.
  • Comply with tendering procedures, including document preparation and management level approvals.
  • Participate in CFT context, compliance, safety, security, scope of work, bid strategy, cost analysis, margin, and cash.
  • Implement decisions taken during tender approvals.
  • Organize kick-off meetings with various stakeholders.
  • Coordinate responses to calls for tender.
  • Participate in technical and commercial clarifications requested by clients.
  • Animate internal closure meetings.
  • Animate validation of contractual documents before signature.
  • Manage transfer to operation teams upon award.
  • Support operations and contribute to continuous business improvement.

  • Knowledge of Energies market.
  • Appropriation of customer language.
  • Ability to federate a team around a common project.
  • Ability to present technical and commercial offers.
  • Mastery of Pack office tools.
  • Good writing and synthesis skills.
  • Relational qualities and team spirit.

  • Ability to liaise transversally with other departments.

Candidate Criteria:

  • Minimum level of experience required: 10 years or more.
  • Required authorizations: Contract management knowledge of legal terms and their implications.
  • Proven operational experience on an Oil & Gas project would be a plus.

Languages:

  • English (D-Full professional proficiency).
  • French (C-Professional working proficiency).
