Job Summary
The Statutory Manager M&O will be responsible for developing and implementing internal statutory procedures and instructions within the Legal, Compliance and Risk Management Direction - Statutory and Classification Affairs Department.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain internal statutory procedures and instructions to ensure compliance with international regulations and classification rules.
- Liaise with the IT Department to develop and update templates of regulatory statutory certificates and documents, checklists for ships in service surveys, and other IT applications for the statutory certification process.
- Develop and deliver internal training sessions to ensure employees are aware of statutory regulations and procedures.
- Assist the worldwide network of field surveyors in interpreting statutory regulations and providing guidance on compliance.
- Develop and update periodical reporting to Flag States to ensure accurate and timely information.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering or equivalent (master level).
- Knowledge of classification processes and statutory regulations framework.
- Rigorous and structured approach with strong analytical and writing skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full proficiency in English.
