Position Overview:We are currently seeking experienced Welding Specialists to join our team. The roles will involve significant international travel and focus on key activities in the welding domain.
Responsibilities:The primary duties for this position include:
- Reviewing supplier welding documentation to ensure compliance and quality.
- Providing technical assistance to suppliers in resolving welding-related challenges.
- Creating and maintaining welding documentation for both offshore and on-site structural and tubular fabrications.
- Coordinating welding qualifications at manufacturing sites.
- Offering technical support to manufacturing facilities regarding welding issues.
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- Certification as a Welding Engineer (IWE or IWT).
- In-depth knowledge of structural and tubular welding codes, including but not limited to AWS D1.1, ASME IX, ASME B31.3, ASME B31.8, NORSOK M101, and DNV RP F101.
- Experience working in a manufacturing yard environment.
- Willingness to travel internationally for assignments.
- Completion of a medical examination for international missions is required.
For the second position, the focus will be on:
- Monitoring the prefabrication of CLAD pipelines.
- Coordinating and overseeing Welding Procedure Qualifiers.
- Developing comprehensive welding procedures.
- Preparing for on-site manufacturing, including logistics related to equipment, personnel, and consumables.
- Providing ongoing technical support to manufacturing sites on welding matters.
Successful candidates will also need to demonstrate:
- Certification as a Welding Engineer (IWE or IWT).
- Familiarity with Oil & Gas Pipeline Welding Codes, such as DNV ST F101.
- Experience in a manufacturing yard setting.
- Ability to travel to various international locations as required.
- Completion of a medical examination for international missions is mandatory.
