Department Overview:
The Financial Controlling team, known as "PBRC" (Planning, Budget, Results, Central), operates from multiple locations. This team is responsible for analyzing and interpreting financial data provided to Group Management and external stakeholders. Under the supervision of the AXA Group CFO, PBRC oversees critical finance processes and is accountable for the analysis and monitoring of IFRS and Solvency 2 financial statements, as well as the production of the Group's annual report.
Key Responsibilities:
Within the scope of AXA France, you will assist the senior Deputy Manager in the following areas:
- Regularly analyze and comment on the financial performance of the entity, identifying risks and uncertainties that may affect financial statements and alerting the Deputy Manager as necessary.
- Serve as a reliable correspondent for the entity, ensuring effective communication and coordination, providing support, and clarifying Group instructions to enhance reporting quality and efficiency.
- Review and validate all IFRS data submitted by the entity, ensuring compliance with Group methodologies and timelines.
- Support the Group Audit process by collaborating with internal and external auditors.
- Address IFRS accounting challenges as they arise.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of PBRC processes within your area, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
- Analyze financial and profitability metrics, preparing reports for Top Management.
- Review Group-wide reporting and financial documents presented to external analysts.
- Establish common guidelines and practices for reporting and ensure their application across entities.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and coordination.
- Contribute to the overall performance of the team and support the successful implementation of organizational changes within PBRC.
Candidate Profile:
Technical Skills:
- Strong analytical and synthesis capabilities.
- Comprehensive understanding of finance concepts and the insurance sector.
- Familiarity with accounting principles and actuarial practices is advantageous.
- Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of SAP Magnitude is a plus.
- Fluent in English and French.

Experience:
- Master’s degree in Finance, Audit, Accounting, or Actuarial Science.
- 5-6 years of experience in a similar role as an actuary, controller, or auditor.
