The Role
- Support Government Affairs efforts for Abbott, reporting to the GA Country Director.
- Collaborate with GA initiatives to protect and advance Abbott's interests and business units before legislative bodies, government agencies, policy makers, politicians, trade/business associations, and other allies and influencers.
- Deliver weekly reports and GA activities for the Board of Directors of Abbott in France.
- Lead key projects assigned by the GA Country Director related to the ecosystem of associations and stakeholders in the field of e-health and/or patient groups.
The Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Political Science, Public Policy, Public Health, or related disciplines. A legal degree or MBA is a plus.
- At least one year of experience in government affairs, public affairs, and public policy for private or public sector.
- Strong analytical skills to dissect complex public issues.
Teamwork
- Communicate with Abbott France and other EU countries where Abbott has activities.
- Collaborate with internal partners (businesses and functions).
- Matrix leadership and supportive to the GA Director.
- Fluent in French and English.
- Basic computer skills and/or video skills.
