Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Colibri main engine sub-system development, test, and flight readiness activities.
  • Manage the specification for the main engine sub-system.
  • Collaborate with multiple key suppliers for the main engine sub-system, involving business trips in France and Europe.
  • Conduct design and manufacturing activities for the main engine sub-system.
  • Plan and conduct AIT activities for the main engine sub-system.
  • Develop a performance and functional model of the main engine sub-system.
  • Define the operational modes and control algorithms for the main engine sub-system.
  • Participate in the consolidation of vehicle and propulsion system budgets.
  • Contribute to the overall Colibri propulsion system definition and development.
  • Participate in the propulsion community of practice within MaiaSpace.
  • Preliminary design of propulsion solutions for future IOS kick-stage versions.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in mechanical, aeronautics, or space engineering, with +5 years post-Baccalaureate experience.
  • A minimum of 7 years professional experience in propulsion system and rocket engine development.
  • Ability to use MATLAB/Simulink, with EcosimPro or similar tools as optional.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills, with autonomy, rigor, and a proactive problem-solving attitude.
  • Fluency in English, with French fluency preferred.
