Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as the Head of Financial Markets and Risk Management. This is a unique opportunity to lead our financial markets and risk management activities, working closely with our treasury team to optimize our financial performance and manage risk.

Key Responsibilities

  • Foreign Exchange (FX) Management: Develop and implement our FX strategy, consolidating and managing our FX exposure, and ensuring hedging of group debt and intercompany dividend payments in foreign currencies.
  • Interest Rate Hedging: Develop and implement our interest rate hedging strategy, establishing reporting and KPIs to monitor our interest rate positions, and proposing hedging and pre-hedging strategies for new debt issuances and asset-liability management (ALM) exercises.
  • Money Market Transactions: Oversee our €M NEU MTN Program, managing interest rate curves, amounts, and durations, and manage our €1.3B Commercial Paper Program, including issuance strategy.
  • Commodities and Energy Management: Oversee monthly vPPA valuations and electricity market monitoring, support our group's electricity hedging strategy, and collaborate with our Sustainability Team on green energy initiatives.
  • Financing & Debt Capital Markets (DCM): Oversee liability management activities, monitor the performance of our bonds, and manage all aspects of Euro Bond debt, including new issuances, pricing, and legal documentation.
  • Accounting and IFRS Compliance: Ensure derivatives transactions comply with IFRS standards, prepare figures for our financial statements concerning debt and derivatives, and write position papers for derivative transactions and negotiate optimal booking with external auditors.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration
  • 5-10 years of experience in Treasury, dealing room, or financial markets roles
  • Strong knowledge of foreign exchange, interest rate hedging, money markets, and commodities and energy risk management
  • Good knowledge of IFRS regulations, especially IFRS 9 & 16
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Proven leadership abilities with experience managing a team
  • Excellent command of English and French
