Position: Portfolio Management Assistant – Thematic Investment
Thematics Asset Management operates with a strong focus on thematic equity strategies, managing substantial client assets. The firm prides itself on its entrepreneurial approach, driven by a team of seasoned professionals with a proven history in thematic investing.
Location: Paris, FRANCE
Internship Duration: 6 months
Compensation: Competitive
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform in-depth equity research and financial analysis utilizing proprietary tools.
- Assist Portfolio Managers with daily operations and ongoing initiatives, including portfolio validations and cash-flow assessments.
- Prepare for and participate in meetings with sell-side analysts and corporate management teams.
- Oversee the updating of reports, portfolio monitoring tools, and presentation materials.
- Coordinate the scheduling of meetings, calls, and conferences efficiently.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Profile:
- Post-graduate student from business, university, or engineering institutions; a dual business/engineering background is advantageous.
- Prior experience in asset management is preferred, though other relevant financial experiences will be considered.
- Strong skills in account modeling and stock valuation.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Familiarity with Bloomberg is desirable.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong communication and writing abilities.
- CFA candidacy is a plus.
